Netiquette The customs or rules of behaviour regarded as correct in the Internet culture OR a conventional code of practice ... in essence, the do's and don'ts of the Internet

This Acceptable Usage Policy is designed to help protect our customers, the Internet community and Telizon Inc. from abusive or illegal activities.

Each company or individual who uses our services is responsible for the acceptable use, either by the customer or any operator working on the customer's behalf, and is agreeing to ensure that the policy guidelines are followed. Complaints about customers' conduct should be directed to abuse@telizon.biz.

If a violation of this policy occurs, without notice, Telizon Inc. has the right to terminate the account or to take any other actions required and/or considered necessary in the resolution of the situation.

We encourage you to be responsible and to respect our community as well as others participating within the community. Your conduct should be guided by common sense & basic (n)etiquette.

Unacceptable and abusive actions or conduct include(s), but is not limited to, the following:

1. CHAT/Message Board Services
1.1 Encourage or participate in off-topic discussions.
1.2 Use of explicit/vulgar/obscene language.
1.3 Post or reference sexually explicit images or other offensive content.
1.4 Exploit a minor (any person under the age of 18).
1.5 Use racially or ethnically offensive language.
1.6 Discuss or incite illegal activity, such as how to build a bomb, counterfeit money, etc.
1.7 Disrupt the flow of chat in chat rooms with vulgar language, abusiveness, hitting the return key repeatedly or inputting large images so the screen goes by too fast to read, etc.
1.9 Solicit for the exchange of sexually explicit images, and/or material harmful to minors; including but not limited to any photograph, film, video, picture, or computer generated image or picture (actual or simulated).
1.10 Harass, threaten, embarrass, or do anything else to a chat participant that is unwanted.
1.11 Offer for sale products or services.
1.12 Infringe anyone else's intellectual property rights, including but not limited to any copyright,
trademark, rights of publicity, or other proprietary rights.
1.13 Solicit an Internet password or other account information.
1.14 Harvest screen names.
1.15 Post or request personal or other information from a minor (any person under the age of 18), including, without limitation, any of the following: full name, home address, telephone number, picture, or the name of their school.

2. EMAIL

2.1 Delivery of, or causing the delivery of, SPAM/UBE or Bulk Email by any Telizon Inc. or Telizon Inc. hosted email address.
2.2 Email of any Pyramid/Chain letter from any Telizon Inc. or Telizon Inc. hosted email address.
2.3 Infringement of Copyright laws (also see 2.1)
2.4 Fraud and misrepresentation of oneself and /or others from any Telizon Inc. or Telizon Inc. hosted email address (ie. relaying email through another site for the purpose of attempting to hide your identity or using false email address).
2.5 Threatening other customers or members of the Internet community
2.6 Email Bombing, or causing an Email Bombing, by any Telizon Inc. customer.
2.7 Knowingly transmitting viruses from any Telizon Inc. or Telizon Inc. hosted email address.
2.9 Transmission of rude and/or distasteful material from any Telizon Inc. or Telizon Inc. hosted email address.

3. Hacking

3.1 Gaining, or attempting to gain access to any computer or system on the Internet using unauthorized means.
3.2 Disabling (causing down time to) or causing denial of service on any computer or system on the Internet using unauthorized means (ie. Back Orifice, Netbus or WinNuke)..
3.3 Pirating and/or transportation of pirated software
3.4 Stealing data or software from any computer or system on the Internet using unauthorized means.

4. News Groups

4.1 Mass posting of unrelated articles or files to a newsgroup.
4.2 Fraud and misrepresentation of oneself and/or others when posting to news groups (ie. using false email addresses).
4.3 Threatening other customers or members of the Internet community
4.4 Posting of any Pyramid/Chain letter to any news group.

Additional Terms & Conditions

1. A customer may not engage in any activity or activities which disrupts the normal business operations Telizon Inc.
2. A Telizon Inc. account cannot be shared or sold to individuals and can only be accessed by the client or other authorized users.
3. A user will not initiate multiple active connections using the same account (simultaneous logins).The user is responsible for their own account. If you suspect that someone is using your account, please contact the Telizon Inc. Accounts department and have your password changed. Also, please be courteous to other Telizon Inc. customers and disconnect your computer from the Internet when you are not using it.
4. A user will not post profanity, nudity, slanderous or discriminating content on any Telizon Inc. hosted web site or domain.
5. Telizon Inc., and/or its authorized agents, reserves the right to interpret any questionable action or conduct of any Telizon Inc. customer as being unacceptable as per the terms of this agreement.
